Society is putting pressure on him because he is of age. His family is doing the same, and the mother even invites pastors home to help him pray about this issue that he still does not see it as a priority. His friends do not tell it to him directly to his face, but they keep posting those pictures of their engagements, weddings, and anniversaries, which facebook just has a way of promoting them on his timeline so that he sees them every time he logs on, even if they were posted a month ago. He used to think that this pressure would only come from outside, but, lately, deep in his heart he bears thoughts that tell him things are not right. And these thoughts can be really notorious at bothering. They are the same thoughts that will make anyone in his situation vulnerable to accept anything that comes their way.
When it is time to go through this stage in life, these pointers will become clear. But don’t rush despite the presence of such prevailing circumstances. Take time to set the right foundation to avoid contributing to negative statistics of unhappy marriages, divorce, and abuse.
