Ajabu House

The name alone will leave you with a foretaste of what to expect. And just as it suggests, Ajabu has the feel of wonders. Located in one of the deltas of Lake Naivasha, the house is over 80 years old, built in the early 1930s by a little known white family that I just learnt recently pioneered the Kenya Cooperative creameries. It was a real treat spending a night at the house with the rest of the Truth Warriors. The memories of the ambiance of the place cannot be easily erased. From the fig trees, sunrise over the lake, wildlife, water surfing, the scenic view of Mt. Longont, the rooms, and the garden; it is hard not to document about Ajabu.

Oh wait! And, the road leading to the Place has a heaven feel of its own.
